This is a 9 pin Deutsch diagnostic cable adapter used to connect your Nexiq USB Link 3 (or Link 2) to vehicles with a 9 pin connection 1998 to present Class 4-8 Heavy Duty OEM and Tier 1 suppliers with J1708, J1939, CAT1, CAN2, CAN3 protocols.

Note: This cable does not work with the original USB Link.180
